Beosound Theatre

From our Boston showroom

A sleek furniture piece that excites from both a visual and acoustic perspective.

Bang & Olufsen Boston

01 / Sound and shape

Seemingly
suspended.

Inspired by a sailboat’s keel, Theatre’s curved aluminium body appears to balance on a thin blade. The shape conceals the acoustic volume inside, bringing twelve drivers into a piece that feels at home alongside your furniture.

Solid oak or fabric fronts, paired with aluminium, give the room a classic Bang & Olufsen TV aesthetic. Your screen can remain part of the picture—we’ll check the mounting arrangement with you.

02 / Music meets film

Every word.
Every moment.

A dedicated coaxial centre speaker brings dialogue into focus. Two bass drivers add weight, while side and upward-firing drivers widen the soundstage for Dolby Atmos films.

When the screen goes dark, Theatre becomes a music system. Stream an album or bring compatible speakers together around the home.

Dialogue

A coaxial midrange driver and tweeter keep voices clear through busy soundtracks.

Depth

Two 6.5-inch woofers bring the low frequencies into the soundbar itself.

Surround

Virtual processing expands the soundstage. Add compatible rear speakers for sound physically behind you.

03 / Your room, considered

Tuned to
where you sit.

Theatre’s RoomSense setup measures the listening position with its included microphone. It adjusts speaker levels, distances, and room compensation, so the system works with your space.

For a larger cinema setup, Theatre can work with compatible Beolab speakers, including older models through Powerlink. Our Boston team can plan the speaker roles and listening positions around your room.

04 / Designed to evolve

Keep the sound.
Change the setting.

A new screen, a different front cover, or more speakers in the room. Theatre’s modular construction separates the parts that may need attention from the sound system you want to keep.

  • A changeable frontThe user-replaceable cover can move from fabric to solid oak, or take on a new finish as your room changes.
  • A screen of your choiceUse Theatre below your television, or integrate a compatible screen with the right bracket. Our team checks the screen size, weight and fit.
  • Built for serviceKey components can be maintained or replaced by service specialists. Software updates and speaker expansion allow the system to develop over time.
