Privacy & data collection

Last updated October 7, 2026

This notice describes this Boston store website, operated by The Vision Group, Inc., operating as Bang & Olufsen Boston, serving 233 Newbury Street, Boston, MA 02116 and 460 Harrison Avenue, Boston, MA 02118. Contact designer@beoboston.com or call 617-294-6922 with privacy questions.

What this website collects

This website has no account registration, checkout, contact form, analytics scripts, or advertising pixels. It stores an acknowledgement of the cookie notice on your device when you select Got it. Your hosting connection necessarily includes technical information such as your IP address, browser information, the requested page, and the time of the request. The hosting service may process this information to deliver and secure the website.

The website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes connection and traffic information to provide its services. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for its processing practices.

Email and appointment requests

Book an appointment and Email Us open your email application. Clicking does not submit a message or confirm an appointment. If you send an email, we receive your email address and whatever contact details, preferences, and message content you provide. We use this information to respond and arrange your visit. Your email service and our email service also process the message.

Please include only the details needed for your inquiry. Do not send payment details, government identification numbers, or other sensitive information by email.

Google Maps and YouTube

This page includes an embedded Google Map for the Newbury Street store and a privacy-enhanced YouTube player starting at 25 minutes and 10 seconds. The SoWa store photos are hosted with this website. The embeds load directly as you view the page, without a separate permission prompt. The video does not play automatically.

These embeds connect directly to Google and may receive your IP address, device and browser information, the referring website, and interactions with the map or player. They may use cookies and other browser storage. Google may process information outside your country. Its processing is described in the Google Privacy Policy and Google cookie information.

The YouTube player uses privacy-enhanced mode. That mode limits personalization associated with embedded viewing; it does not make viewing anonymous or eliminate all data processing. See YouTube’s embedding information.

Storage and retention

Selecting Got it saves an acknowledgement of the cookie notice in this browser for up to 180 days. It does not grant consent or change how the embeds load. If your browser prevents storage, the notice may appear again on your next visit.

Email correspondence and hosting records have separate retention practices. Contact us for information about records associated with your inquiry or to request deletion. Some information may need to be retained to complete your request or meet applicable obligations.

Sharing and advertising

This website does not include tools for selling personal information, targeted advertising, visitor profiling, or cross-site analytics. Embedded Google services process information directly under their own policies. Email and hosting providers process information needed to provide their services.

Your choices and requests

Your browser’s privacy settings can restrict third-party cookies and other site data. Clearing data does not recall information already sent to Google. The Cookie notice link in the footer reopens the disclosure; it does not disable the embeds.

You may contact designer@beoboston.com to ask about access, correction, or deletion of information you have sent us. Rights and exceptions depend on the law applicable to your request. We may need information to verify your identity before responding; please do not send identity documents unless specifically requested through an appropriate channel.

This website has no advertising pixels or analytics scripts. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track do not change how the embedded maps and player load. Google’s processing of information from those services is governed by its own policies and your settings with Google.

External websites

Following Get Directions, Watch on YouTube, social links, or corporate links takes you to a third-party website with its own privacy practices. Bang & Olufsen A/S’s corporate privacy policy applies to its services; it is separate from this Boston website notice.

Children and updates

This website is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can address it. We will update the date on this notice when the website’s practices change.
